Welcome to the Kid Zone!
This space offers a vibrant and inviting retreat designed specifically for families to reconnect and recharge during the conference. This space is more than just a room; it is a shared adventure where families can step away from the main events to enjoy quality time together.
A Shared Experience: Please note that the Kid Zone is designed to foster adult-child interaction and is not a "drop-off" service. To ensure a meaningful experience, parent / adult supervision is required at all times as you explore the various stations together.
What the Kid Zone Offers: Upon arrival at the Check-In Station, children are welcomed with a child-friendly Welcome Bag packed with essentials for the weekend, including a journal, crayons, inspirational stickers, and your Squishie Workshop ticket. Throughout the space, you will find a variety of hands-on activities, including:
- The Squishie Workshop: A highlight of the weekend where children can use their special ticket to participate in a Build-A-Squishie Workshop, creating a plush Squishie memento to take home.
- Art & Imagination Studio: A fully stocked studio featuring watercolors, Play-Doh, pipe cleaners, beads, and googly eyes for creating collaborative masterpieces.
- The Construction Zone:Work together to build towering structures with LEGO bricks, Lincoln Logs, and big waffle blocks.
- STEM Discovery Lab: Dive into discovery with age-appropriate STEM experiments and explore how things work together.
- Movin’ & Groovin’: Get the wiggles out at this station. Work as a team with a parachute launch, or learn a new skill with hoola-hoops, and juggling kits.
- Games & Puzzles: Engage in some friendly competition with classic board games like Chutes and Ladders and Trouble, or complete puzzles as a family.
- Story Time: When it’s time for a break, relax on bean bag mats in our reading corner, which features Bible storybooks and prompts to encourage conversations about faith.
- Quiet Reflection: Enjoy a variety of fidget toys, including liquid motion bubblers and stress cubes, designed to provide a calming sensory experience.
- Tiny Tots: For those with the youngest attendees, we provide a dedicated Baby and Toddler area featuring soft foam climbing structures and a convenient changing station stocked with supplies.
- Sip & Snack Station: This station serves as a fun "pit stop" where Adults and children can pause to recharge their energy between activities. This area is designed for families to stay hydrated and refreshed, offering water & healthy snacks.
- Comfort & Care Corner: We strive for safety but know that sometimes things can happen, and we’re prepared to care for small bumps and bruises at this station.
Whether you are building, creating, or simply resting, the Kid Zone provides the perfect environment to strengthen family bonds and make lasting memories together.
